I'm learning a bunch about my family's lifestyle going through this journey. Mostly that it can be VERY hard to stick to a schedule on the weekend! This week I mixed it up a bit. Here's what it looks like:

My meals, Monday through Friday, are exactly the same. That probably seems boring to most people, but I'm a creature of habit, so it makes me happy. I plan to get 30oz of meat (a serving of protein is around 3oz - this covers lunch and dinner for protein five days of the week). I over-eat my veggies, and I don't really estimate out the healthy fats. I'm lazy!
The weekends get a little hectic, so I'm doing a crockpot meal for Saturday, and Sunday night will be leftovers. I usually skip lunch (nap time for Z, so that's when I exercise). I tend to snack a bit on prep day, and I eat off the kids' plates, so I'll probably over-eat on the weekend. I also
We're getting there! After all, it's all about progress, not perfection. The majority of my eating is in line, and I tend to do doubles for exercise (one 30-minute workout, and between 3-5 miles when I don't mind the weather).
